Here are seven ways you can switch up your diet and clean out your bathroom. Try these drinks and foods for healthy skin instead of using chemical-filled products.

Drink Water

It’s a mantra you’ve probably heard from childhood, but there’s a reason why water is hailed as the holy grail of achieving clean skin naturally.

Water cleanses the liver and colon, flushing out toxins, which manifest as bad skin. It also hydrates you, carrying essential enzymes, vitamins, and minerals to skin cells, and filling the cells with water. This leaves skin looking plumper and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and cellulite.

It quenches your thirst, making you less likely to reach for a sugary drink; it fills you up, so you’re less likely to snack on junk food – there’s not much this natural source can’t do.

Aim to drink eight glasses of water a day, and if you find water boring, you can supplement it with sugar-free juice to make it taste a little more interesting.

It helps to support a healthy digestive system, which is essential for good skin, but what stands it above the rest is that it contains a unique DNA and RNA complex that helps cells to repair, rebuild and rejuvenate.

Vitamin C
