A Wealth of Information During First Ten Episodes
With 10+ shows under our belt, I thought it fitting to recap these informative episodes. Following is a recap of the first ten episodes of Living Natural Today: Out with Toxins, In with Your Health:
Episode 1: Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, an Overflowing Toxic Bucket and a New Paradigm of Healing with Dr. Daniel Pompa
Dr. Pompa has been instrumental in my handling Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. He personally had MCS, so he knows what those of us with it go through. If you have MCS, or are dealing with other unexplainable illnesses, I highly recommend this show!
Dr. Pompa travels the country educating doctors and their patients on the 5 R’s of True Cellular Detoxification: Removing the Source, Regenerating the Cell Membrane, Restoring Cellular Energy, Reducing Inflammation, and Reestablishing Methylation.
In addition, we discussed what toxins are and how they affect our body and we discussed MCS in more further detail. Dr. Pompa is very knowledgeable and shared a great deal regarding toxins. Definitely a great episode to kick off this radio show!
Episode 2: Talking All Things Organic with Gwendolyn Wyard of the Organic Trade Association and Jessica Shade of The Organic Center
What we discussed during this show is something I’m passionate about recommending to others: organic. Both of these guests were tremendous resources!

Episode 3: Minimizing Toxins in the Home and Safe Remodeling with Stan Salot of ECC Corporation and Angelique of Green Dreamhome
During this episode, I interviewed fellow VoiceAmerica host Stan Salot during the first segment and Angelique during the second. They both spoke about toxins in our home and safe remodeling. Stan is the host of People to People – Working Together for your safety. He touched on toxins which can be found in our home such as flame retardants, mercury, phylates, lead and formaldehyde. We also discussed how chemicals are tested, or the lack thereof.
In addition, we talked about Stan’s work with the Hazardous Substance free mark. The Hazardous Substance Free Mark is simply a mark that manufacturers can put on their packaging which gives more confidence to consumers. As a consumer, you can look for products with the label on it that you’re buying. It contains a database of what’s actually in the products as it relates to chemicals and materials – much like a label showing ingredients on food. The end result is: everything manufactured should be labeled based on a process of ensuring compliance.
Angelique discussed safe remodeling. She has Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, so she knows how difficult it can be to remodel safely. We discussed where she gets product information, and what she does before making a large purchase, such as flooring for example. She provided advice on what to do when contractors come to your home and the precautions you should make before starting a project.
This information was highly beneficial if you’re purchasing new appliances, or planning on remodeling your home!
