Toxins Lurking in Personal Care Products (and What to Do About It!)
Do you know what toxins are lurking in your personal care products, baby items and salon products? Toxic chemicals are commonly used in feminine care products like pads and tampons. Testing shows that some of these chemicals are linked to cancer, reproductive harm and allergies. Unfortunately, because pads and tampons are regulated as “medical devices” and not “personal care products,” companies are not required to disclose any of the ingredients used in these products. Tune in on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 4:00 PM (ET) to VoiceAmerica’s Living Natural Today: Out with Toxins, In with Your Health, as as I interview Cassidy Randall of Women’s Voices for the Earth as she passionately advocates on behalf of consumers in her effort to eliminate toxic chemicals that harm women’s health by changing consumer behaviors, corporate practices and government policies.
