Wheatgrass Recipes – Tip: Buy It Online For More Convenience

When you hear the term “wheat”, what is the first thing you think of? I am guessing that you don’t even think of making a juice, or a smoothie from it, do you? It would be like eating grass, right? You might as well pick the first thing you find in your garden and put it in a blender.

Well, my friend, it seems that you may not be very well versed when it comes to wheatgrass and its benefits. It might look like ordinary grass, but it is much, much more. Known for its exceptional nutritional value and other positive effects, it is widely used as a dietary supplement. It is so popular and powerful that people around the world call it a superfood.

An interesting story about the product: I Took Wheatgrass Shots Every Morning For Two Weeks. Here’s What Happened.

How Is It Used?

Wheatgrass can be consumed in many different forms. One of the most popular of those is wheatgrass powder. It is long been accepted as a healthy dietary supplement. Consequently, the product has found its way to the kitchens of many households.

We have all tried to “keep a healthy diet” more than once in our lives. Of course, if you are not serious about that, then this product might just sit there in your kitchen to the point of becoming completely useless. Don’t be one of those people and don’t let that happen. When you decide something, stick to that decision.

However, no matter how beneficial this powder might be, everyone agrees on one thing. It’s not very tasty. Why is it that healthy things tend to taste gross? Is it really too much to ask that someone makes something tasty AND healthy? Read this.

Can It Get At Least A Bit Better?

I not only understand but also join in on your frustration. In an effort to right this wrong, I conducted an experience of my own. First, I bought my wheatgrass online. This was not only more convenient but also offered me the chance to find a reliable supplier.

Then, once again, I turned to the World Wide Web. After doing some research, I developed a few recipes that can make this nutritious ingredient taste rather good. If you don’t believe me, then try them out for yourself.

Of course, I have to make one thing clear. Don’t expect these to taste like a rainbow in your mouth or something similar. Remember, the goal is to keep it healthy. Putting the powder in a chicken wing won’t do you much good.

That being said, the first thing you have to do is find your supplier to buy wheatgrass online and get yourself the best powder. After that, use some of the below tips to get the most out of the product. I have no doubt that you will soon start feeling its benefits. So, check these out.

Smoothie

I believe this is an especially great option when kids are involved. Who could say no to a smoothie? Of course, they might not know that you are using the smoothie as a means to keeping them healthy (kids tend to be appalled by that word in combination with food), but that’s none of your business. Kind of… And, when it tastes as good as the one I will teach you to make, I know they won’t have anything against it.

  • Put a cup or two of vegan milk into a bowl and add some wheatgrass powder.
  • Take a frozen banana and some avocado and mix it all together.
  • Add a handful or two of mint and use some coconut whipped cream for an even better taste.

The exact amount of ingredients depends on your preferences, as well as the amount you are making.

Latte

This is a perfect option for those who cannot start their mornings without a coffee but would still like to cut back on caffeine. It takes only a couple of minutes to make. Furthermore, it can give you a similar effect as caffeine and help you wake up in the morning.

Again, start by pouring some vegan-friendly milk in your favorite cup. Then, add just a teaspoon of wheatgrass powder to it. It would be better to use a whisk if you have one. But, don’t worry, if you don’t, a spoon will do just fine. Of course, add some sweetener if you feel like it.

Dressing

The ingredients in this one depend on your main meal. Usually, the easiest way would be to mix some powder with olive oil and sprinkle that over your food. No matter what you use for your dressing, you can add this to make the meal healthier. And you won’t even taste the wheatgrass.
